Typhoon Lando Strucks Luzon


October 18, 2015,  Lando first landed in Casiguran ,Aurora as stated by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center with gusts of up to 210kph but it slightly weakens as it landed.  

 The typhoon lasts within 3 to 4 days bringing heavy rains and strong winds  left a lot of damages to the environment and residents. Trees were cut and had blocked the roads.Electric posts collapsed that result to power interruption to some parts of Baguio City. Landslides and floods that killed around 35 people and nearly a million people affected according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). The damages to agriculture and infrastructure due to the typhoon has risen to P6.57 billion had been burden to the residents because it had greatly affected their livelihood.

Typhoon Lando is said to be the Second Powerful Typhoon in 2015 according to 
NDRRMC.
